Who we are

Logo.png

Together for Change is a civic list, with no connection with  any political party, campaigning  on local issues. The list aims to represent in a transparent and participatory way the richness of the experiences, needs and concerns of the entire Italian community in the United Kingdom. We want to work together to find practical solutions to our problems beyond political affiliations.

The list unites first and second generation Italians, Italian students and professionals, Italian families, dual nationality communities and Italian entrepreneurs in the UK. Together we want to change how the Comites:

  •  Interacts with the Consulate and the Embassy to create a truly effective and proactive collaboration in order to improve existing services and create others in line with the new needs and requirements of the community (e.g., new mobility, Brexit and Covid).

  • Represents the community so that it truly becomes a transparent and democratic vehicle that addresses the needs and requirements of an active and participatory community.

  • Promotes Italian culture and language by working with both Italian and British entities for a more widespread and effective dissemination of community activities, in all its forms, from language to art and work.

What is Comites

Comites is the body responsible for representing the Italian community with the Consulate, the Embassy and local institutions in the United Kingdom. It also works for community integration and promotion in the UK.

The Comites is composed and voted by Italians residing in the United Kingdom. There are two Comites boroughs in England: London and Manchester.
